DonutNV
DonutNV is an interactive, mobile franchise opportunity that is fun to operate and profitable! We serve hot mini donuts, fresh squeezed lemonade and other juices, plus hot and iced coffee, including our signature NVous iced coffee. DonutNV is superior to our competitors in that we offer mobile franchises exclusively via our custom donut trailers. Our turn-key, one of a kind trailers are built from the ground-up and include our exclusive donut machines and LED viewing window. Guests are able to watch not only our donuts being made fresh, but also our citrus being squeezed and the juices and beverages bubbling via our counter-top merchandising. Our proprietary donuts are made to order and have high margins with low waste. This is a sweet franchise opportunity: set your schedule by booking events, flat weekly royalties (no penalty for success!) and minimal labor overhead (on 2-3 people per truck). When Founders, Alex and Amanda Gingold were looking to escape corporate America, they couldn't find a business opportunity or franchise that was affordable or that fit their on-the-go lifestyle. So, they built it themselves! DonutNV started as a small mall kiosk in 2014 and grew into the mobile space in 2015. Since then, we haven't looked back and continue to innovate in the mobile space. We equate any interaction with our brand to being the "Chick-Fil-A of the mobile donut world." We provide a premium product paired with a premium experience, from start to finish. We respond to event leads quickly, both day and night. We arrive early to events, giving the event host piece of mind. We provide a premium experience, differentiating ourselves as more than "just another food truck." We follow up every event with a thank you note, making sure our customers know that their business is appreciated. The ongoing vision at DonutNV is to build a brand that makes guests say “WOW!” Our concept is designed to be memorable by offering a tasty snack AND a show, with the goal to make everyone’s day sweet at DonutNV!

FORMER FRANCHISEE

Jun 3, 2026Before investing in DonutNV, I would strongly encourage prospective franchisees to conduct extensive independent due diligence and speak with as many current and former franchisees as possible. My experience was that the business required significantly more time, effort, and expense than I anticipated. While the concept itself is appealing and customers generally love the product, I found that operating costs, insurance, vendor fees, event fees, staffing challenges, and other ongoing expenses made profitability more difficult than expected. I also recommend carefully reviewing all franchise agreements, development agreements, riders, addendums, and financing arrangements with qualified legal and financial advisors before signing. Make sure you understand not only the initial investment but also the long-term obligations, fees, sourcing requirements, and exit options. Franchise ownership can be rewarding, but it is important to evaluate the opportunity based on actual operating realities and not just best-case scenarios. Ask detailed questions, verify financial assumptions independently, and seek perspectives from franchisees with a variety of experiences, including those who have struggled or left the system.

Jun 3, 2026The franchise does not are about the franchisees at all. The will sell you on Lies they will sell you $125k trailer that you can get built anywhere else for about $30k. If you need to contact support it will take 2 wks for them to get back to you. They are constantly changing their required vendors. The franchise will not help you in the least.

Apr 2, 2026We were very early on this and the numbers shown in the sales process and validation at the time positioned this as a Semi-Absentee model which was not the case for most owners unless they had a lot of liquid up front to burn while they ramped
